Mansouria Mokhefi  is the special advisor for  the Middle East and the Maghreb at Ifri  (French Institute for International Relations).

She holds a PhD from the Institut d'Etudes politiques de Paris , a licence on Arab and Islamic civilization from the INALCO (National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations), and a Master's from New York University. 

After teaching History and International Relations at Vassar College (New York), she runs an annual seminar on the Arab world at the New York University in Paris.

Mansouria Mokhefi is a member of the research center for Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations and associate researcher at the University of Quebec in Montreal.

 She is the author of many analyses,  she co authored  with Alain Antil, head of the Africa program at IFRI, "The Maghreb and south: towards renewed ties" (A CNRS  publication, December 2012).
